Practical training. Technical skills. Sustainable energy.

What You’ll Learn

Get hands-on with photovoltaic (PV) solar systems in this comprehensive micro-credential. Depending on your path (100h or 160h), you’ll learn to:

  • Understand Canada’s renewable energy sources (solar, wind, etc.)
  • Install and connect PV systems safely and professionally
  • Use technical tools and documents
  • Follow safety regulations (PPE, lockout/tagout)
  • Diagnose and maintain grid-connected PV systems

Learn through applied content aligned with Canadian industry standards.

Career Opportunities

After completing this program, you’ll be able to:

Checking the surface. Engineer with photovoltaic solar panels outdoors at daytime.

Design, install, and maintain PV solar systems

Solar panel blueprint, electrician team and green energy power grid conversation on farm.

Work with clean energy or solar tech companies

Two male engineers, equipped with safety gear, review blueprints together at a wind farm on a bright, sunny day, with wind turbines in the background, reflecting teamwork and environmental focus.

Offer expertise in grid-tied renewable systems

Be a part of Canada’s energy transition.
